who we are

Our Story

Since 2002, EHCP has been at the forefront of SHTC investment.

Noticing that many smaller projects were never developed due to financing gaps, EHCP pioneered the use of SHTC in Missouri as a source of equity and leverage for lending.

EHCP’s founder, Tim Wolf, saw these small projects as vital to the stability of small-town main streets.

While we started out focusing on smaller projects, over time and by developing relationships with developers and other members of the Historic Tax Credit community, we have expanded into over 20 funds working in 11 states investing in more than 250 projects with total equity investments of over $675M. Over the past 20 years, we have evolved and adapted and established EHCP as a prominent SHTC investor. We pride ourselves on what we can offer to a developer and the relationships that result from our work. We are committed to historic preservation and enhancing the value of the SHTC.
